Next on our agenda was the egg drop contest! Once again I was baffled at the idea of dropping a raw egg, from the top of the stairs at the office. Ideas ran through my mind, what is the a good way to protect it? Do we even stand a chance against the rest of our class who by the way are super competitive. All I wanted was for our egg "Cherrise" to survive. The requirements for this project were quite nerve racking, the mass had to be 25 grams, and when the day came to drop it our mass was 32 grams lets just say we had to do a lot of shaving of our Styrofoam in 15 minutes. And after we shaved off most of our protective shield we had to see it would actually survive. I couldn't bare to look while one of my group members checked to make sure our egg survived, and once he yelled that it did a weight had lifted off my shoulders. Two projects down, three more to go.
